“Average experience. Didn't hate it, didn't wow me. The room was overall nice, and I enjoyed the amenities. The staff was cordial and welcoming. The little 24/7 market came in handy numerous times. Good layout, loved the big TV. The location is good and gives you access to a lot of local food and things to do, within walking distance.
The complimentary breakfast is to be avoided; nothing fresh, and it made me sick for a few hours. The bathroom had clearly taken some damage, with a cracked/loose tile, a big blank spot on the shower wall with visible grout still peeling off, and a warped and deformed panel on the sink. It's as if someone went nuts and the hotel only partially repaired it. Indoor pool WAS NOT heated, and was in fact chilly--false advertising!”

“Power went out Friday during our stay. When we got back to the hotel and the power was out, we were told by the manager, Jackie, that they would not be willing to help us find new accommodations. She went as far as to lie about other hotels in the area being without power which was false. We spoke with several of the Marriott hotels she said weren't available to outage that did not lose power all day.
Edna at the front desk was very kind and apologetic but Jackie said it was 'out of the kindness of her heart' that she was not going to charge my 7 month pregnant wife and I to cancel the rest of the reservation.
Property was fine, no issues with room until it was without power but will never go back to this property.
EDIT: Noted the reply from Marriott and want to emphasize that we had no issues with the fact that they lost power. That happens. The issue was that they did nothing to help us set up accommodations somewhere else and then lied to us about every Nashville Marriott being without power.
Just adding because they didn’t address any of this in their reply”
