“I was able to get a small but very clean room at a very reasonable rate. The parking garage is primarily set up for compact cars, but it is very convenient. The location is an easy walk (less than half a mile) from Waikiki Beach past beautiful Fort DeRussy Beach Park. The breakfast buffet is great, and it saves money getting food in a tourist area. The room is cleaned daily. I assume much nicer rooms are available in this huge hotel at a higher price than I was budgeting for a quick solo business trip.”

“I stayed for three nights in August 2021. My two queen room was clean when I first entered and offered a really nice view of the ocean and Diamond Head. (Tip: Book a full ocean view room and request a high floor to treat yourself to that view!) The only downside was that my room was quite tiny for four people. Moving on, the staff were really kind and friendly. On my first night, the fire alarm rang while I was sleeping. While I had to go 39 stories down using the stairs, I’m not even mad at them because the staff were very apologetic about it. (It turned out to be a false alarm.) Also, I arrived at the hotel, where the check in time is 3 pm, at 11 am. The front desk staff let me check in early for no extra charge! For the complementary breakfast situation, during COVID, they’re doing to-go bags with breakfast options of your choice, which you can bring up to your room or anywhere else to eat. In addition, this hotel is walking distance away from bus stops served by buses that take you to many points of interest. Even though the pool was closed when I stayed there, my travel companions and I had fun using the other amenities on the recreation floor. All in all, I recommend this hotel if you’re on a budget in Waikiki and you’re able to work with a small space.”
