It's worth going once but go with platinum when booking. Nice place, great staff but every visit seems to be less for your money than the visit before (this is done by management ). An employee told us that they always treat you best on your first visit to "get you hooked". We have been here three times in last two years, each time for 9 to 13 nights and we probably won't be back.

Overall it was a big mediocre experience with occasional annoyances that took me out of the holiday mode. While it is an all inclusive resort it always finds ways to leave the work for you.Starting with overworked, understaffed and as a result unfriendly staff that just cater the masses, that leave you no choice but to get your own drinks, cutlery etc. if you plan on eating any time soon, to concierge services that wouldn't even make a local phone call for you.Personal highlights of annoyance- Check in with >1.5h waiting at reception- Being locked out of the room for >1h due to door malfunction- No ATMs working and no possibility to change money at reception- Themed restaurants with horrific interpretation of cuisines (Looking at you Miso restaurant offering "suhi" and " niguiri")If I would have to put my time in percentages25% waiting in lines 25% walking to ask/arrange something 50% doing what I wanted to doOf note, this was my very first all inclusive resort and travel agency arrangements. Clearly it was a mismatch for me.However, I can see the potential for relaxation and the appeal to some people. Anyways, I doubt you will find peace and quiet here. I personally will not return.

Overall, beautiful resort, and would probably stay here again. It's very spread out with an outdoor layout, which was a big plus for covid safety, but it did take some time to walk to the main hotel area and restaurants, and wasn't fun in the rain.Pros: - Beautiful grounds - Beach cleaned of seaweed every day - Food was not great, but not bad (except for the dinner buffet: Get restaurant resos!) - Outdoor taco bar by the pool was super convenient for lunch - Easy to make restaurant resos via their app - Friendly staff - TONS of pools. - Easy to stay extra covid-safe and avoid others while still enjoying pools etc. if you wish. - Quiet in the evenings, at least where our room was. - Beers and water bottles stocked in rooms - Firm beds, and it felt like we got one hard pillow, one soft pillow (this is a plus for me, probably not for you if you like a soft bed!) - Lots of room for infant crib AND portable playpen with a junior deluxe suite. - Tile floors kept room nice and cool. Barely even needed to turn the AC on. - Strong AC (when we needed it)Cons: - Rooms are quite dated. - Shower, toilet, and bathroom doors are quite loud, which makes it tough if you're travelling with an infant. - Some buffets and restaurants closed due to covid - There are carts to transport guests around the resort, but they only come every 15 minutes - Reception only picks up after 9 and into early evening. Hard to get help outside those times. - Many bars are only open 11 to 5:30 or so, so you have to walk all the way to the main hotel for a drink, and even those bars close early. - Difficult to catch staff to get beers and water bottles restocked - Wifi is free, but slow, and sometimes didn't work at all - Many Koti. They're cute, but kind of aggressive from guests feeding them. Not the resorts fault, and they are managing as best as possible, just something to be aware of. - No charger next to the bed on one side

Would give zero stars if I could. Horrible experience. We were told everything was open. Nothing was. Customer service was absolutely appalling. Waited over an hour to be served at one of the included restaurants. Bars would randomly close when they were supposed to be open. Be prepared to wait in a very long line any time you're looking to get food, a drink or talk to reception. They're incredibly understaffed. For the love of god save your money and go somewhere else!!

O hotel tem qualidade, boa comida principalmente as carnes, bons quartos, piscinais, bares junto á piscinas e na praia vários, muitas espreguiçadeiras. A praia não é das melhores.

Lugar maravilhoso. Mas check in um lixo, irritante, pessoas mal educadas. Tem excelência no restaurante oriental, aqui na reserva pedir para sentar a mesa que tem o preparo com o chef, espetacular. O restaurante Chillout também excelência no atendimento. O Sport bar lugar agradabilíssimo. Kids Club impecável com o niños. Na saída cuidado com o segurança que libera. Mal educado, grosso, escroto e violento. Tirando o check in e essa segurança que pega o papel da liberação, lugar bacana.

Estivemos em um grupo de casais...a estrutura do hotel é fantástica, piscinas restaurantes, quartos etc. Só não tem como dizer que é perfeito devido ao check-in: alguns de nosso grupo tiveram problemas (entregue chaves pra quarto ocupado, malas demoraram quase duas horas pra chegar ao quarto, precisavam de "papel impresso" da reserva para confirmar o check-in etc)....Para um hotel desse nível isso precisa ser melhorado.

Hotel absolutamente incrível. A simpatia das pessoas é inagualavel. A grandiosidade ebeleza é de ficar de queixo caído. A qualidade de cada detalhe é induscutível. A única coisa má é ter de partir! Soberbo.

I wish I could say our stay was amazing like all the other resorts we've stayed at. Unfortunately this was the worst resort experience I've had yet..Customer service. We had the platinum, thought that would get us better service but it doesn't.Our concierge couldn't even book our Covid tests, we had to go all the way to main concierge to wait in line for 2 hours just to be told that he only has one time slot available which we had an excursion booked at that time. He didn't care.Crazy thing was a couple 6 people behind us got in at a sooner date. The concierge was just being rude and lazy.Getting around. I was with my mom who can walk but she's senior and couldn't walk everyday from the platinum all the way to the lobby. We waited some days up to an hour for a cart to pick us up. They say they run every 15 mins...they don't!!Food.The resort is far too big, so by the time you get to the buffet you are eating cold soggy food.The room. Our room was riddled with cob webs and smelled so musty that I couldn't breath all night.Luckily they moved us to another room. But why would they think that was even ok. A lady in our building got robbed.Internet.They boast about how good their wifi is. I had two very important meetings I had to do virtually but guess what...no internet at all. We went to the concierge and all they could say was it was down.This will most likely cause me to be kicked out of my Harvard program. This was the line for me.Worst trip ever. And we have talked to about 20 others who say it's been their worst trip and will be filing complaints.

We had a wonderful time! Friendly staff. If we needed anything, they helped us or got it for us. Grounds are beautiful. Rooms are nice & spacious(we had the swim out, 💗 it!!). The ocean & beach was beautiful & they work hard to keep it clean of seaweed. The restaurants where good (our favorite was the Miso Thai). There is room for improvement. We loved the egg station in the morning for the buffet (in the main lobby) but everything else always seemed to be the same items for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The grounds are really big & they do need to have 2 carts running at the same time to bring people around the resort. I know some folks told us they can't walk that far in the heat & humidity. All in all, we had a great time & can't wait to come back!!

The resort is nice great pools and nice beach.The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Reason I gave this resort two stars is because the food is absolutely awful. It Is poor quality ,bland , and very processed. I got food poisoning on the second day there. I will not back to this resort due the the food Quality

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon— absolutely horrible. The food was AWFUL. The beaches were disgusting. The “romance package” that included “chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne” literally meant TWO chocolate covered strawberries. One for each of us. Wow. How kind. The only good thing about this place was that we booked the Platinum package and had our own bartender to fill us with drinks until we were able to leave. Do not go here. Read the reviews, don’t be like me and just look at the pictures. Talk about being catfished. Thousands of dollars absolutely wasted.

I was trying to plan my wedding there, But Emma was so rude and wouldn't communicate with us or call us, instead went through emails which weren't replied to in a timely fashion. And the non refundable deposit is a JOKE. So we took our business else where. Paradisus is where we will be having our wedding next year. Glad I read these reviews, and see I'm not the only one having problems with their wedding manager Emma. If you want to have a easy weddding and great communication go with Paradisus. The have a great selection of wedding packages and a 100% refundable deposit. Thanks Everyone for all your reviews and glad I'm not the only one who thinks Emma shouldn't be in a management position.

The resort seems very nice at first, but my wife and I both got food poisoning from their buffet, vomiting and diarrhea for a full day. We didn't eat off-resort all day, so it was certainly the buffet. At the buffet, they give you a table and it takes upwards of 30 minutes for a waiter to bring you a drink. (You can't get your own drinks at the buffet).

Me and my husband stayed for 10 days at this gorgeous resort. I never not once had a problem. The entire staff was so polite and professional I wish I could have gone with way more money to tip them more than they deserved. So tentative and fast I

El hotel me encantó, sólo hay que tener mucho cuidado con los coatís que se llevan las bolsas y todo lo que tenga olor a comida. Es una población numerosa. A pesar de la la baja ocupación, un poco de música en las piscinas grandes hubiese estado genial. El servicio, la comida, las instalaciones, maravillosos!

Ahhh, wow what a beautiful resort to unwind and relax. We stayed a week and this was just what my wife and I needed. It was a amazing resort and the pool was stellar. Warm and so relaxing! The first day the beach was full of coral and unappealing however we had a storm come through that clear it all out and on our last night we were able to get in the water and enjoy it. The good was good and what a surprise on the last night they had one of my all time faves of oxtails and rice. Lol, the perfect ending to an amazing getaway for us!The drinks were good and flowing and the entertainment was pretty good too every night.The rooms were nice however I'd suggest taking a candle to create a pleasant smell as it is a little older resort, just my preference, especially for an extended stay. We definitely will go back and probably take the kids next time!
