“Well located in downtown Salt Lake City. Easy walk to restaurants, Temple Square, Gateway Centre, Arena Etc.
Only downside are the numerous homeless people and their 'tents' made out of a sheet of plastic. We didn't feel frightened as there were four of us, but the lack of hostels makes me sad.
Great hotel, lovely staff, great breakfast.
The hot tub wasn't working which was a shame.
Housekeeping on request or every 5 days. Additional housekeeping items on request at reception desk.

“I found the room accommodations to be superb. Very clean and bright. I was put off by three factors of my stay. 1) My Hilton Honors app Digital key was not ready at arrival and was not ready until sometime during the second day of my stay. Additionally, this hotel requires physical key use to access elevator and the garage. The entire point of the digital key is so that I do NOT have to interact with the staff. This was a failure of that feature. 2) The front desk staff was not knowledgeable or prepared to help with a simple question. I phoned the front desk to ask about the TV and was told, direct quote from the staff, "we are not authorized to answer questions about the TV." What?! That was literally her response. Just think about the lasting impression that leaves. This will forever be a conversation piece with all my coworkers and we all travel a lot for business. Not authorized? Who is, or should be authorized to answer questions about the hotel? Maybe the hotel staff?! I was disappointed to find the Directv had no local channels to watch Sunday night football, but yet had no less than a dozen religious viewing channels. Not happy. 3) The biggest for last, the breakfast was awful. I mean everything tasted really bad. From the awful baked frozen omelets, to the nasty scrambled eggs, it was all just terrible. Even the pastries were not good. Take the PC syrup, ice cold...thats what I want on my hot fresh made waffle is ice cold syrup! I walked away extremely dissatisfied every morning and breakfast is very important to me.”
