“If you choose to stay at this hotel my advice is to use your smart phone to record your check- in (Eduardo Santos) and/or any other communication with the hotel stuff - even from your calls from your room. They are unprepared, unprofessional and rude. They will simply tell you “that didn’t happen” - flat out, which makes a situation very uncomfortable for a guest have to argue with the hotel staff during a checkout. I faced a very uncomfortable situation and I couldn’t believe how the front desk assistant (Gabriel) and the front desk supervisor (Gustavo) handled the issue.
After I paid the extra fees they mistakenly charged me, I asked to speak to the GM (Cristiane) to relate the issue, but she stood by their staff and “as a favor” she authorized the refund for the extra charge.
She never sincerely apologized for their mistake, for the inconvenience and she left like I was the wrong one.
I asked for my luggage ticket and I was told they had already given to me, which they weren’t yet. Instead of checking on it and after realized I was correct, I still heard “we were not going to steal your luggages, here it is!”
I replied to the automatic hotel review email I received the next day and I still received a nasty unsigned comment back from the hotel and it turned out it was sent by her the hotel GM Cristina.”

“A superb hotel - very clean, safe, stylish, and elegant, and just short walk to Avenida Paulista. The front desk staff speak excellent English, and are professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The buffet breakfast offers an extensive selection of fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, eggs, pastries, breads, etc., and there is even a chef on duty preparing made-to-order omelets. The surrounding neighborhood is clean and relatively safe, and there are many cafes and stores within easy reach, including a large shopping center a couple of blocks away. Absolutely highly recommended.”
