“Beautiful hotel. Everyone is really nice & helpful. They have a water taxi that takes you to Universal Studios. There was a singer on a balcony singing to the outside courtyard.
Mama Della's Restaurant:. The food was delicious. I had the short ribs, which melted in your mouth. Lindsay, our waitress, was so on top of things, it was almost like she read our minds. My husband said even the coffee was really good. There were also a couple of fellows going from table to table entertaining with English & Italian love songs.”

“The Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando is great hotel and just a water taxi away from the part entrances. The hotel is lovely and it's great that the Express passes are included in the price! We HIGHLY recommend the Express passes because they are worth it and saved us so much time during the busy summer travel season. The water taxi is very efficient and a great way to get to the park entrances. Note, if it is storming outside, the water taxis don't run. We walked the 0.7 miles back to the hotel via the garden walk (it's a beautiful walk along the river) one evening when it wouldn't stop lightening. I recommend this hotel and location!”
