“We stayed one night on our way out of Costa Rica and booked this hotel for proximity to rental car drop off and for the airport shuttle. It was ok. Hotel appears to only be partially renovated. There is still some tired carpet and aging bathrooms in the rooms and common areas. The air conditioner in our room sounded like an industrial lawnmower cycling on and off and kept us up a good portion of the night. Staff at breakfast was polite and friendly. Best perk was the 24 hour airport shuttle -- driver was considerate and efficient. We stayed at a competitor hotel overnight on arrival to Costa Rica, and it was a superior experience.”

“Alejandro at the front desk was superb. Breakfast had lots of choices and some local cuisine as well. I was woken up at 5:22am by heavy vaping/cigar like strawberry smelling smoke, called the front desk to confirm this was a non smoking hotel but the smoke continued for 2 more hours so I had to check out early due to the smell. The front desk didn't have toothpaste, also there was a lot of hair on the towels and the bathroom walls and the floor was sticky.”
