“This is an absolutely excellent hotel. The location was fantastic. The employees provided outstanding service and any question I had they were right there with help. Can't say enough about how helpful they are and I really don't know much Spanish at all but they didn't care. The rooms are spacious, super clean, very modern bathroom and I had a nice little balcony over the wonderful small cobblestone streets here in Madrid. The hotel has a charm with where it is located, the architecture and the overall look. The restaurant is actually really good. Even though there are tons of great places all easily walkable I did a dinner at the hotel and breakfast each morning. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Madrid.”

“I guess I don’t understand the great reviews? The front desk staff were pretty snooty towards us the whole time. Right from check in it seemed like it was an inconvenience- they hardly gave us any information about anything, just gave us the room key and that was it. We didn’t even know that there was breakfast on sight until we were checking out. There was mold in our bathroom/we requested to switch rooms but they said no because nothing was available, but the website showed they had almost every room option available. (I guess I’m not total sure how that works but it was disappointing) the rooms look into the ‘courtyard’ but it’s just an elevator and you can see across to other peoples rooms/they can see yours. It mentioned a mini bar in the room but we literally just had wine glasses and nothing to put in them? No fridge either. Was a little confusing. The room was booked with diamond memberpoints so I guess we technically weren’t out any money, but still a disappointment overall.Plus side: we liked the location.”
