The New York EDITION seamlessly blends the elegant design of Ian Schrager with its Madison Avenue landmark beginnings. Originally constructed in 1909 as Metropolitan Life Insurance Company’s headquarters, this clocktower, near Madison Square Park, has been ingeniously reinvented to offer luxury boutique accommodation, a tranquil hotel spa, chic new event spaces and a Michelin-starred restaurant helmed by Executive Chef Jason Atherton, all encompassed by 360-degree views of the City. The Clocktower restaurant offers updated classics and contemporary British fare by Michelin starred Chef Jason Atherton. “The hotel is THE definition of Luxury We Had a phenomenal stay at the New York Edition, got upgraded to the Loft suite, very spacious. Everything was excellent, attentive staff and they even brought champagne to our room on our arrival day. Highly recommended 👍”

“A lovely hotel. Rooms are small, but it’s NYC people. We had a Superior room and it’s good for 2 adults but definitely not for a family. Stick to a Courtyard or Residence Inn if you need more space!
The staff was very nice and the views are fantastic. Ask for a north or south facing room, as high up as you can go! The shower is very slippery. Watch out. Excellent location with some of the city’s best restaurants within a few blocks. We will definitely be back.”
