So this hotel is amazing. Views, beach and rooms. Service was horrible. I booked a double bed lounge room. I had to pay extra for both of my children. One adult price and one child. This is an extra 225 a night. Our nightly rate for a room was over 900. On the Marriott website, the room details say you can get a roll away in the room so my younger ones could sleep separate. When I called down to get the bed; I was told this isn't the US. I couldn't believe it. Then, upon going to the lounge after each shift change we were asked our room number and then they would go check and see if we paid for extra people. So much for the personal service you are to receive at that level. I am also a Platinum member so loyal to Marriott. I have never been treated like this at a Marriott. I will give it another try because of the location, but I will contact Marriott while I am there if I am treated this way again.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you won't regret it. As an Ambassador, this hotel has the best service around. We have stayed 4 times here in different years and each time the service is impeccable. Each staff member around the hotel takes great pride in what they do, great attitudes and it shows. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and easy access to the hotel amenities and the Marriott Cancun next door. Absolutely my favorite hotel on the strip. I will definitely be back again. Thank you all for a wonderful experience....again. Kudos to all and management, please award them all with something. Even just a thank you from the Marriott family to themselves.

As an Ambassador, this hotel has the best service around. We have stayed 4 times here in different years and each time the service is impeccable. Each staff member around the hotel takes great pride in what they do, great attitudes and it shows. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and easy access to the hotel amenities and the Marriott Cancun next door. Absolutely my favorite hotel on the strip. I will definitely be back again. Overall: excellent hotel and amenities, phenomenal service, would likely come back if I visited Cancun again. Pros: - service was really good: issues were promptly followed up on, someone was available to answer questions at all times, housekeeping did an incredible job! - adults only pool with a swim up bar -ocean views from most rooms and balcony on all rooms and easy ocean access from the resort - abundance of beach chairs that are all ocean-facing and all have cushions. We also loved the umbrellas here, they were not cloth umbrellas and so didn't flap in the wind, and had attached tables that were useful for setting down drinks, etc. - lobby bar has an excellent selection of margaritas Cons: - restaurants were just okay, and had a lack of good vegetarian options. Also we wished there was more authentic Mexican food! - our door on the balcony wouldn't lock, and it was not fixed despite asking a couple times -there are only two pools that you can actually swim in, the other pools are a scuba pool or just decorative -not the hotels fault, but: the Marriott is connected to this resort, so if you are choosing the JW for a more adult vibe, know that there will be plenty of kids around.

We stayed at JW Marriott for 5 nights and 4 days. We shopped in their gift shop. Ate in their restaurants and enjoyed their amenities. The staff was always so happy, friendly, and service oriented. Our hotel room was in excellent condition and beautiful!!! When we ate dinner it was always great food and accompanied by candles and entertainment. The maids did a great job cleaning our room early every day and came for a turn down service. The gift shop was open late and had really good ice cream/ sherbet. The staff out doors was so amazing! We loved our stay with JW Marriott so much and have no desire to stay anywhere else. You can tell the employees love their jobs and are so happy to be working and serving there. One employee told us he works in paradise. Thank you JW Marriott for everything! We love you all! Love Sandy and Hugh Meadows

Só conheci de passagem, não me hospedei no hotel, os preços não são para amadores. O lugar é imenso e lindo, há várias lojinhas dentro do hotel e as áreas de lazer são muito confortáveis. Há bares restaurantes muito bem estruturados. O acesso à praia é muito fácil e é lá que tem aquele monumento com o nome de Cancún bem colorido.

Um hotel muito refinado, mas tome cuidado!! Cada limpeza no quanto é cobrado no checkin, e a comida do restaurante é igualmente ruim como todo a comida mexicana, vá preparado pois a sensação de passar mal após comer e constante.

This is easily one of the top 3 hotels in Cancun! From check-in to late check out this hotel nails it on every level. Staff is wonderfully helpful, inviting and nice. The hotel is well maintained clean. The rooms (we had two) were very well organized and accomodating (we needed a crib and the couch also doubled as an extra bed). The food at the restaurants tasted great and was presented well. The pools are fun - especially with kids and the beach is very nice and private. On our second night we even got to watch a wedding reception from our balcony before bed. Overall it was a great experience and we will be booking here on out next trip to Cancun.

Below average for JW brand. Thought I was staying at Hampton Inn for this type of hotel. Close to beach, and wonderful views. A couple of the restaurants were very good. However, very uncomfortable bedding, threadbare furniture. Malfunctioning elevators. Constant construction noise and jackhammer vibrations on our floor.. The tour company in the shopping area is only recommended if you want to be extorted out of money for souvenirs and poor experience.

Beautiful hotel and service was top notch throughout. However, constant construction noise made it impossible to truly enjoy myself and relax. It was an issue at the pool, the spa and on my balcony. Truly disappointing to have to plan my one hour of relaxation in the sun daily around the construction workers lunch break… I’d definitely come back, but only if I was 100 percent certain there was no construction…

Excellent hotel staff, service is impeccable. The only complaint I would have is the topless woman on the beach. I understand the hotel cannot enforce clothing in public areas, but having my children there made it uncomfortable and we ended up lounging in the pool area instead. Disappointing that someone wouldn't try to be more discreet given all the families that were there.

Beautiful newly renovated hotel. Great restaurants, especially Italian. Got disappointed getting side ocean view instead of direct one, as pics on any booking website promise, so make a call before, if it’s important for you. Tried to change but they still renovate some rooms, so keep tourists far from noisy ones. But you can still hear very well construction at the pool.

The J.W. was perfect in every way.The variety of dining options made it easy to find food from the pizza at the small cafe to the fine Italian restaurant downstairs to the poolside Mexican food.The staff was all professional and extremely helpful.The hotel was clean and well-maintained.The location on the beach is gorgeous and we loved having a room with a beach view.The pools are beautiful and great for swimming during the day or night.Rooms were comfortable and quiet and we were treated amazingly.

Absolutely amazing!! We came here for our anniversary and the service here was incredible. The staff was hand-and-foot service and ready to help with anything we needed. The food choices and quality were great! The rooms were always clean and had everything we needed. We felt safe both on-site as well as through the transportation provided by the hotel and their partners. They had great activities, music, and excursions to do around the area as well as activities and things on-site. We will definitely be coming back to JW Marriott again.

Esse resort é simplesmente incrível. Super aconchegante, lindo, já harmonia nas coisas. Ótimo para se ir tanto sozinho, acompanhado, famílias com crianças. Tem um conjunto com várias piscinas todas com água morna, logo você pode ficar dentro dela mesmo que não esteja tão quente a temperatura ambiente. Há jacuzzi também entre as psicinas. Há DJ também que animam os hóspedes. Os restaurantes são incríveis com muita diversidade de pratos. O paisagismo é outra coisa que me deixou maravilhado. Tudo muito lindo e conservado. A única coisa que não estava meio legal é que eles estavam consertando algumas estruturas do hotel, então na hora de comer algo no restaurante incomodada um pouco o barulho das máquinas trabalhando, mas nada que impedisse a experiência no local. Super indico.

It is not clear why Marriott allow this hotel to be different from all the other Marriottâs with its club. Club 91 and the 14th floor are nice but certainly not any better than the executive levels...
