Prime location for walkable distance to everything downtown! Minutes from all sorts of restaurants, Broadway and museums. Complementary coffee, breakfast and the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! I enjoyed that after 11pm you need to scan your hotel key to get in. Especially for a girls trip, that was comfortable to have at night. The elevators required the key also for safety. I would definitely stay again!

This is a great hotel and it’s a great location to all the main action. You can easily walk to all the hot spots downtown and bar hop and see live music. Bed was comfortable and the room was modern and nice. Definitely would stay here again when I come back. Nashville was a lot more fun than I ever imagined. I want to go back when it’s warmer.

Not Worth The Cost Made reservation a week in advance for 1 king bed. According to the front desk they gave those rooms to the same day walk-ins they had on our arrival day. You would thing reservations take precedence but apparently not here. The concierge was like a quiet auctioneer, rapidly spouting out information but at a volume that made it nearly impossible to understand him. When asked where the stairs were, he replied with “just take the elevator” which in my opinion was rather rude. There were noticeable stains on the couch in our room (a dual queen room since we could not get the king we reserved). We were also told parking overnight in the parking garage ATTACHED TO THE HOTEL would be $30 a night. You’d think parking at the place you’re paying to stay would be covered. We ended up not parking here anyway as there are comically few spots in the garage, a lot of which are labeled “compact” but should be labeled for motorcycles based on their size. Our tv in our room was also broken and had to be replaced. The only bright spot was the maintenance guy that helped us with that as he was very nice and surprisingly fast.

We stayed July 16, 2020 - July 19, 2020 and was celebrating a birthday. Great location to downtown however most all bars were closed. Kudos to Ole Red that was opened. The room was cleaned when we arrived but no service for the entire time we were there. You have to wear a mask in the lobby and social distance in the elevators (only 4 people in at a time) but that is suggested. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel so I cannot comment on that. The parking was the problem for us. The fee is $28.00 a night and site says the only have valet. We arrived and no valet, which is no big deal, however they should not charge in my opinion. Anyway, problem is the garage is extremely small and larger cars/trucks take up two spaces. When we arrived back after having dinner on Saturday night, there were no spaces available. It was a hassle trying to leave the car, go inside and speak with the front desk but finally we were instructed to park in another area under the hotel. Taylor was extremely nice even though I was upset and frustrated by this point of the entire Nashville situation. He listened to my complaints and did his best to alleviate the situation and took care of the parking fee for us. Taylor, thank you for being so kind and for bringing up the extra items for my coffee, I appreciated the thoughfulness. Its the small things that count!

I will like to start this out by saying my experience there was a roller coaster of a ride, in all the best ways. The front desk staff is amazing! They are a young group that is very well kept and are down to earth who take their Job serious. During the night an issue happened with our next door neighbors. The Hyatt staff and other floor guests including me and my wife were quick to respond. The Hyatt Place Staff of Nashville were hero’s that night. I would like to thank the taller gentleman who works the desk at night, as well as the young lady Megan who works the desk in the mornings for making what could have been the worst experience ever, the best. We will for sure be coming back to Nashville and look forward to staying at the Hyatt Place once more.

We went around looking for a hotel to stay for a night, but we didn't want to pay for the Hyatt since there were a lot cheaper other places to stay. After all we decided to stay here because it was overall the best options, we were 5 and other hotels wanted a crazy amount for more than 3 people and they were really bad looking places and not comfortable at all. We do not regret paying the little extra plus we were right in the city close to the bars, thanks to this we got drunk and no one had to drive 👌

Rm looked nice but we needed to use the daybed.. Super uncomfortable had to close it. An use the sofa to rest.. Not cool when who knows how my butts have been on it n yr face

Had a bunch of my stuff stolen from the room. Wouldn't recommend bringing valuables. 5/3/2020: I have not yet been compensated for the theft. I do appreciate how the hotel has handled this incident.

My expectations were not met by any means. This first night was okay and the front desk ladies seems to be very nice. The hostess even let me check in at noon instead of the regular 3 p.m. which was appreciated due to the long drive my girlfriend and I had just finished from Kansas City. The first problem I noticed was little as I saw that the batteries on all the remotes were either empty or completely dead. The second day seemed okay until the hostess came up to my room while my girlfriend and I were taking a nap, and knocked on the door to tell us that we had a noise complaint. This was confusing as we had been laying down with the television only on 10 out of 80, and we had not been talking to each other as we watch the Entertainment channel. About 30 minutes later the stay at the "upscale" Hyatt Place took a negative turn as the Hostess came back up AGAIN (this time with some type of security)and woke us up to let us know that if we did not keep the noise down we would be asked to leave. (Honestly we feel like we are being treated like some kind of criminal who is tresspassing and should not be here.) I asked what type of noise was being complained about and I was told the screaming between my girlfriend and I had to stop. It has been about an hour since the hostess has come by the second time, and I am diligently staying awake by the door quietly wondering when the hostess is going to come by with another complaint. Honestly I am disgusted with the experience as we have done nothing but been quiet and stayed to ourselves, and have been threatened to be kicked out of a hotel that we have done absolutely nothing wrong in. Please to anybody reading this go with a different hotel in the Nashville area. Trust me there are much nicer hotels and that extra 20$ will give you an experience ten times better. If I could do this all over again I would have rather cancelled my vacation than came to this terrible place. What a waste of money. I basically paid 500$ to be insulted and treated like I don't belong here.

The hotel is close to everything and the staff was very thoughtful and knowledgeable! The breakfasts were amazing! Our experience at the Hyatt Place Downtown was wonderful! We would definitely stay there again in the future.
