The chair at the desk is broken and won't raise up or back.
It's chilly in the room but turning on the heat has had NO effect. Seems to be recirculating the air no=either heated or cooled.
No bell hops. No luggage carts. (Well they say they have some but...)
Room service ONLY if you request it the night before.
No in room coffee or bottled water. No in room refrigerator.
Chatted with the bartender who said the property was purchased about a year before Covid hit and they had to put renovations on hold. Great but why are they charging as if it place is finished and advertising it like a luxury hotel?
I travel the around the world and have stayed at true luxury hotels for about the same price. This really disappoints!”

“This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I had planned to check in on Tuesday and check out on Friday, but I ended up checking out on Wednesday morning. They do not take cleanliness seriously and it is not safe to stay here, especially during a pandemic.
When I checked into my room, I noticed that it was unclean. There was a tube of lip gloss on the floor, along with a hair tie and some other small items that would not have been there if the room had been vacuumed prior to my arrival. There was a sticky substance on the desk, and when I inspected the room further, I noticed that most of the surfaces were dirty, including the inside of the drawers. The shower had not been cleaned and there was colored mold in the grout. The bedding and sheets were visibly dirty and stained. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone in my room was broken (along with the blinds for the window and the hair dryer in the bathroom). When I went downstairs to the front desk, I told them that my room was dirty and gave them specific examples of items that were dirty and I told them that the room had not been vacuumed. They apologized and told me they would be sending someone to clean the room immediately.
I went to the hotel's private beach to wait for my room to be cleaned, which is a small patch of sand on the side of the highway. Although there was no one at the beach at the time I went, there was trash everywhere and all the beach chairs were dirty.
When I returned to my room a couple hours later, nothing had been cleaned. My room looked completely untouched. The same items were still on the floor because no one had vacuumed, and none of the surfaces had been wiped down.
Fortunately, I was able to file a complaint and was issued a refund from this hotel, which allowed me to leave and enjoy the rest of my trip at a better hotel. However, once I returned home, I noticed that I had 2 charges on my credit card from this hotel for $169.12 each, even though they told me I would be issued a full refund. This experience was way more work and stress than it should have been and I am still tying up loose ends from the false charges to my credit card a week later. Do not stay here!”

The view was very nice! The location was close to a lot of attractions which was convenient. I’m leaving 1 star because the room did NOT have the basics!! No microwave no fridge! & it was not vacuumed there were shells from someone eating nuts all over the floor & one of my pillows had blood on it..

I usually don't take the time to review but this experience deserved it. The hotel is beautiful! My bartender miss Kala, made my entire night unforgettable! Her recommendations were amazing, my dinner couldn't have been better. Drinks were also delicious. Her service is spectacular! I will definitely be back to visit!

Great stay, backpacking around america as a travel advisor. Stayed here for a while. These people are genuine. Kindhearted folks. Security is great. Clean beach. Cleaned bathrooms. Clean rooms. Cleaned parking lot! Jet skiing and boat activities. Beautiful little walking area by the water. Loved it! Will recommend customers to visit this establishment while in Tampa.
